A few of the winter highlights both in and out of our classrooms include: Being part of a team or organization helps students to grow in different ways and enhances their learning experience. Overall, we have over 40% of students that are involved in at least one extracurricular activity during the winter season. Outside of the classrooms, many of our students continue to succeed and represent our school in a very positive way.

Thanks to social media, we have been able to post images of activities that are happening in our classrooms, so please check our corporation’s Facebook site to stay informed. All of these practices that are happening help to keep students engaged and focused on learning. The instruction that I observe includes hands-on learning activities, small group work and tons of student collaboration. As I walk through our classrooms, I continue to be amazed by the different ways that staff members are challenging our students. The mild winter conditions have allowed everyone to settle back into a regular routine, which benefits young learners. The second semester has gotten off to a great start for both students and staff.
